  Snakes had legs until Eden curse! Watchtower 1880 till 1974!!!

  often flicking through watchtower bound volumes i would see pictures of eden which shows the snake in the tree of knowledge with legs??

  even the photo drama of creation shows a snake with legs.. watchtower 1964 p.352 "genisis 3;14 {snake}on your belly you will go and dust you shall eat...before god curse it the snake had legs, that elivated it above the ground...god transformed it's body so that it ceased to have legs and was able to move on it's belly.".

  god's eternal purpose 1974 "god did not put a curse on the whole serpent family...it had only been victimized by satan.. forrest gump watchtower science is price-less!.

  J.W= No beards-clean shaven, short hair...even Jesus???!!!

  do you remember all the publications in the 1950-1960's pictures showing a jesus clean shaven with short hair???.

  Also any Ex-Witnesses that are suffering from Pogonophobia = "The abnormal fear of beards." there are many web-sites on the subject...I know Im too scared to grow a beard, I only last 6 days last time before a brother saw me at KFC and told my wife I "looked depressed." Now Im back to shaving everyday.

  yes only weak, momma's boys,don't smoke!

  That's why everyone thought the Witnesses were comunists. They refused to use the term religion, and congregtion, and said governments were from the devil, the "Superior authorities" were Jesus and Jehovah, so the governments of that era assumed they were communist based, fifth columnists, or fascist. This lead to lots of banning, imprisonment and death, especially during WW 2. Today they tell us it was due to neutrality but it goes deeper then that. "Religion is a Snare and a Racket." Woodworth and Rutherford were so angry and vengeful at the churches for throwing them in prison in 1916, that they banned all religious terms which are from the devil, in the ORG. Many died as a result.

  Uni-brow is a "conscience decision" however the view of the congregation should be taken into account so that none are "stumbled."

  Also Sisters with beards or a moustache are not showing respect for headship and are like Sister Russell, trying to steal power in the congregation. Also Sisters with short hair are breaking Pauls commands and not showing their "Glory" to the congregation. These Sisters should be to you as the tax collectors...don't eat there cakes at the bookstudy.

  Does anyone remember when women could be servants in the congregation?

  this was before the elder arrangement.

  in the 1950's our congregation servant's wife handled the accounts--by appointment from the society.

  in the early 1960's it was a practice to allow a sister to handle the congregation book study if there was a shortage of brothers.

  We had a older Sister who would put on her head covering to abuse and complain to brothers about various spiritual matters....typical Pharasee!...I think she missed the piont of the whole head covering issue!

  ok, slowly awakening and fading at the same time for two years now, and did not plan it.

  i tell my wife last night i have been having some interesting e-mails with my dad about the qb from the sept km we are to study this week.

  she says she has read it, but does not remember it.

  I'm in the same position but I have found I just can't go to the meetings anymore. Even when she had a talk and it meant alot to her. My wife once broke a fry pan on my car for not going to the meeting...very emotional...that was a while ago, now she has chilled out alot and even has doubts herself. She just excepted that's how it is. I don't push too much...just now and again. Use "Witness powers" against them, like a Witness with an opposed relative, give a little Witness here and there but don't go to far. "Causious as a serpent, innocent as a dove" Good luck!

  "The Canvasser" was refering to his canvassing or covering an area with preaching. Like Avon "canvasses" houses with perfume products.

  It's more of a buissness term. Woodworth banned any religious terms like "preacher," "pastor," "religion," "congregation." etc. Remember when the society called congregations "companies" and forbid using the term "religion" to discribe the orginization. Everything had a buisseness term back then. Even Rutherford was called Judge instead of Pastor...even though he only filled in once as a minor Judge. That was the era.

  Japan closes 638 Congregations!!!!! Why???

  japan since the 1970''s has had amazing publisher increases!

  every year the number of witnesses shot up by many thousands.

  this peaked in 1998, since then the number of witnesses and congregations has continued to drop!.

  Selling off kingdom halls would not explain losing 5,300 publishers. That's about two large circuits that were wiped out.

  Watchtower 1954 explains that Jesus WITH a beard in "traditional EFFEMINATE looking pictures"?????

  So having a beard is very female, and girly looking! Clean shaven is manly and tough!
